What a fantastic event! Many congratulations to Lawrence Mitchell and Michelle Witte for their amazing work and delivering this inspiring Wellbeing at Work World Australia Summit.
Over 3 days in Sydney and Melbourne, the theme of 'Wellbeing as the Power Behind Performance' was extensively explored. So many insights and evidence-based research was presented, proving without doubt, that business performance and productivity are impacted by wellbeing.
3 key takeaways:
- The stats are staggering! Only 25% of Australians and New Zealanders are thriving at work (Gallup).
- Recent McKinsey 2024 Report shows that 75% of employees report their boss as the most stressful part of their day! Need to shift from boss to coach, building the scaffolding and skills required. Managers are the most inclined to burnout in Australia.
- A personalised approach to wellbeing is needed to support each person to thrive, both professionally and personally. One size doesn't fit all.
